Dear Colleague,

I am writing in support of Rick Lewis in my capacity as coordinator of the first annual Victoria International Buskers Street Festival (May 1994). I had the pleasure of engaging Mr. Lewis to perform at our festival and am happy to recommend him for your event.

Rick is a first class professional. Not only does he have one of the most popular acts in Canada (he regularly drew crowds of 500 plus, often in inclement weather) but he is extremely easy going and terrific to work with. This being our first year, we had a number of kinks to work out. A few of our stages were not drawing the crowds we anticipated. In spite of this, Rick carried on with his shows. When we had the smarts to move his performances to different times and locations, he complied without hesitation. I felt Rick gave me incredible latitude and had the best interests of the festival at heart whenever suggesting improvements.
