HDNCMRA - Can You Guess What It Stands For?

If you sound it out carefully you eventually get that HDNCMRA is a phonetic clue that a "HIDDEN CAMERA" is being used in these interviews, but Rick plays the part of a part-time hotel waiter who has been roped into conducting the marketing survey with a (mostly) straight face. Rick claims that HDNCMRA is an acronym for "Holistically Defined Networks for Customer Marketing Research and Advancement". Yea ... right. Yet the polite folks being interviewed don't quite catch on.

Rick's survey was conducted with registering conference attendees using Rick's mac laptop and a fake web site form, which Rick reviewed with the volunteers while pretending to submit their answers to some pretty strange questions. The laptop has a built in pinhole camera, so what you're seeing here are hidden camera recordings of meeting delegates answering what they think are real questions conducted by a real marketing firm.

Rick flew into the convention city 2 days early to capture the footage, spent a full day editing the best stuff together and performed his standard comedy waiter and headline comedy act on day 3. The interview footage was then screened to the guests after his show and it brought the house down.

The best part about the new entertainment product is the opportunity it presents to target those who can use a harmless and playful humbling. (Are you thinking about your boss right now?)
